The face-down card put onto the battlefield by Curator Beastie's last ability is a colorless creature you control entering the battlefield (unless an effect gives it a color) so it will enter with +1/+1 counters if Curator Beastie is still on the battlefield

The card is not an incredibly powerful one in play, although it can be decent if luck is on the players side with the gamble involved in the Frog Hop ability

Unfortunately for me, in game 1 he had 2 kids over 0 mine and his build was greedier in comparison to mine

Next thing you know, you're sitting on four mana rocks that add three to five mana apiece

This is something that I tried to make work with Golgari Guildgate and Prophetic Prism, but it was just outclassed by white versions thanks in large part to Temple of Silence
